Joe Rolwing grew up on a farm in SE Missouri, holds a BS in BA from Southeast Missouri State University, and served 5 years as a Naval Flight Officer/aircraft navigator. After receiving his MBA, he served as a medical practice administrative manager/CFO for 22 years in Knoxville, then 5 years here in Nashville. Next was 4 years as administrative manager for a high complexity diagnostic lab, then a combined position here at CET together as President, Tennessee Biotechnology Association (70% FTE) (now Life Science Tennessee).
He married his spouse Dianne in 1973 who grew up in Chapel Hill, NC, and has a daughter Lauren who has degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD,) now has a freelance illustration business who operates here in Nashville with an international clientele list.
His outside interests include family, a woodworking hobby, and previously 17 years of long motorcycle trips with his brother, capped with a 12,000 mile/21 day 2019 trip to Alaska and back.
