You Never Know Who Knows Who
This month’s Members-Only Meeting has a little twist. We’ve got an interactive exercise planned that might surprise you with what comes out of the room.
No homework and no preparation needed. Just show up ready to participate, have a little fun and see where the conversation takes us.
Our wonderful speaker Harris Manning has asked to pass along a message to the group after his presentation:
"It was an honor presenting to a room full of Nashville luminaries. Thank you so much for the warm reception and thought provoking questions. Below are some follow up responses to some of the questions asked today.
1. CAR T-cell therapies are designed to be a one-time treatment. Because the drug products are living cells, they will grow, multiply and persist with the patient. However, for some cancers, patients will get reinfused with the cells if the cancer returns. Also, some treatments provide a second dose to prevent relapse.
2. If you have an upcoming knee or hip replacement surgery and would like to donate your bone marrow for clinical trial research, you can contact this company to
sign up: https://allcells.com/. They also have a blood donation program.
Thanks again for such an engaging discussion!"
